1. UK NATIONAL SALES MANAGER - AUTOMOTIVE, MARINE, INDUSTRIAL MARKETS

Position Title: UK National Sales Manager – Automotive, Marine & Industrial Markets
Location: Centrally Based in the UK
Reports To: Regional Sales Director

We are seeking a driven and experienced National Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales presence across the automotive, marine & industrial sectors in the UK. The successful candidate will be centrally based and responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a small technical sales team.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Managing existing key distributors
• Find new opportunities in existing and new markets.
• Visit, on a regular basis, customers, OEM´s, with or without the distributors.
• Analysis of competitors
• Develop and implement training packages for the detailing, automotive, industrial markets
• Participate in training sessions for both current and new distributors
• Act as technical liaison with paint company technical centers and training personnel
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and customer meetings
• Work with RUPES S.p.A. R&D Managers and Regional Sales Director to define new product opportunities
• Travel intensively in support of RUPES training programs
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
• Manage and coach a small technical team of two sales professionals, ensuring performance, development, and alignment with business goals.

The Successful Candidate Will:
• Have experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive, marine, or industrial sectors.
• Work well independently
• Have strong communication skills and be well versed in social media
• Be comfortable working with all layers of business society, from shop technicians to top managers.
• Be willing to embrace an extensive travel schedule
• Be open to learning new cultures, both social and commercial
• Be centrally based in the UK to allow nationwide accessibility
• Have strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams

2. APPLICATION ENGINEER SWEDEN

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Application Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Area Sales Manager for Norway and Sweden. This role is critical in supporting our primary markets, which include automotive body shops, car detailing shops, industrial, and marine sectors.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for distributor sales teams across the region.
  • Sales Support: Participate in “work-out” days and provide support to distributors.
  • Event Participation: Attend national and international trade shows and distributor open house sessions.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the RUPES Product Managers to identify new product opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with end-users to provide practical, hands-on demonstrations of our products

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess excellent presentation skills, proficient in using PowerPoint and similar software.
  • Have a background in surface preparation, with experience in the detailing industry, automotive paint market, or related fields.
  • Understand customer needs effectively, tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable about leading products from industry manufacturers.
  • Be technically skilled, with a hands-on, demonstration-oriented approach.
  • Be a self-starter, capable of working independently.
  • Communicate effectively, including presenting to large groups and utilizing social media proficiently.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with all levels of the business, from management to shop technicians.
  • Have a passion for achieving high-quality finishes in paint jobs.
  • Be willing to travel extensively throughout the region.
  • Be eager to learn and adapt to new cultures, both socially and commercially.
  • Be proficient in both written and spoken English.

3. CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

General Purpose

Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services in accordance with Company management.

Main Job Tasks and Responsabilities

  • deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • respond promptly to customers inquiries
  • handle and resolve customer complaints
  • obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • provide pricing and delivery information
  • set up new customer accounts
  • process orders, forms, applications and requests
  • manage workflow to meet customer timeframes
  • direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • keep records of customers interactions and transactions
  • record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • record details of action taken
  • prepare and distribute customer activity reports
  • maintain customer databases
  • communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • follow up on customer interactions
  • provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

Education and Experience

  • high School diploma, general eduction degree or equivalent
  • fluent in English, Spanish and French (a fourth language such as German would be appreciated)
  • well trained in international customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Knowledge of admnistrative procedures

4. MARKETING MANAGER - ASEAN

We are looking for Marketing Manager who will be responsible for enhancing our importer’s social media presence and reinforce our brand strategy. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of diverse social media platforms and demonstrate expertise in optimizing content to maximize engagement and reinforce brand identity.

Job Functions:

  • Formulate effective strategies and tactics to effectively promote our company, generate awareness, and attract relevant traffic to our business.
  • Create valuable and engaging content for the ASEAN importer’s website and blog that captivates and converts our target audience.
  • Conduct consumer behaviour analysis and adapt email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Work closely with ASEAN importer to define and implement the local marketing strategy to support business growth.

The Requirements:

  • 3+ years of organic social media experience (executing content calendar, community engagement/comms,etc.)
  • Willing to travel within ASEAN
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
  • Experience in detailing & automotive refinishing industry will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English, Malay & Mandarin (both written and spoken)
