Regional Sales Manager - Russia and C.I.S.


Role Summary for Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will maintain existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities. He/she will work closely with both the business development and technical teams on business strategies to aggressively grow the revenue stream in Russia and C.I.S.
The position is remote from the company headquarters and the successful candidate will have the ability to work from his/her home office, travelling as required throughout the region and working with distribution channel partners and end users.


Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Candidate can be either male or female and must possess a Bachelor's or Post Graduate Diploma. Preferred courses of study are Business, Engineering, Technical Science or equivalent
• Must have at least 5 years of working experience in the designated field or a closely related field
• Must have experience working across multiple countries (more than 1 country) in Russia and C.I.S
• Must demonstrate effectiveness in sales of solutions with an inclination towards consultative selling style
• Must be comfortable working in a “hands-on” technical selling environment
• Must have the ability to develop appropriate sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals
• Must have the ability to work within a travel budget that guarantees regional profitability
• Must have the ability to prospect for and identify new potential customers
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including small group facilitation and client  presentation skills
• Must have above average proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with an ability to deliver a convincing presentation in the English language
• Must be results-driven, independent and process oriented and have a good discipline in maintaining proper tracking of forecasts, account planning and opportunity management
• Must have the ability to develop an understanding of the market and market drivers and to develop relationships with decision makers
• Must act as the focal point for the coordination of all sales and delivery resources
